Deleting your data

Three ways out, depending on how much you want removed. The first two are immediate and need nobody's permission.

Disconnecting one account

Open the project, go to Integrations, and choose Disconnect on the account you want removed. The stored credential is deleted immediately and nothing further is read from that service.

This is the fastest route and it needs nobody's help. What stays behind is the work already done: a post that was published stays published, and the record of what a worker did stays in your activity log, because that is your own history rather than the connected service's data.

Removing Jelly Task from Facebook, Instagram or Threads

You can also start this from Meta's side. In Facebook, go to Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites, find Jelly Task and remove it.

Meta then sends us a deletion request automatically. We delete the connected Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Meta Ads accounts and every credential stored against them, and hand Meta back a confirmation code you can check at any time.

That request covers the data Meta gave us. It does not close your Jelly Task account or touch your projects, files or other integrations, which are not Meta's to ask about.

Deleting your whole account

Email support@jellytask.app from the address you signed up with and ask for your account to be deleted. We delete the organization, its projects, every file, every credential and every run record.

We do this within 30 days and usually within a few working days. You will get a confirmation when it is done, and we will tell you if anything has to be kept for a legal or accounting reason rather than deleting it quietly and saying nothing.

What deletion actually removes

Credentials are encrypted at rest and are destroyed outright rather than marked inactive, so a deleted integration cannot be restored by us or by anybody with a copy of the database.

Backups are a real exception and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise: a deleted record can persist in an encrypted backup until that backup rotates out, which takes up to 30 days. Nothing reads from those backups except a restore, and a restore replays deletions.

Plain English on purpose. If something here is unclear, that is a problem with the page and we would like to know.
