Terms

The rules for using Jelly Task, what we owe you, what you are responsible for, and what happens when things go wrong.

The agreement

Using Jelly Task means you accept these terms. If you are using it for an organisation, you are confirming you may accept them on that organisation's behalf.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials to yourself.

What you are responsible for

The accounts you connect and what happens on them. Jelly Task acts with the access you grant, at the authority level you set. Grant a worker autonomy over an action and it will take that action without asking again, that is the point of the setting, and choosing it is your decision.

The content you put into a project, and having the right to put it there. Do not connect an account you are not authorised to use, and do not use Jelly Task to break the terms of a service you connect to it.

What AI workers are and are not

Workers produce drafts, summaries, analysis and actions from imperfect information, and they can be wrong. Anything that publishes, spends, deletes or deploys requires a human approval by default, and that default exists because review is genuinely necessary.

Nothing a worker writes is legal, financial, medical or tax advice, however confident it sounds. Treat its output the way you would treat a capable colleague's first draft.

Plans, Work Units and billing

Paid plans bill monthly in advance and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in. You keep access until the period ends.

Capacity is measured in Work Units. Unused units do not roll over. If you run out, workers stop taking on new work until the period resets or you add capacity, nothing is deleted and nothing is charged without you choosing it.

We may change prices. If we do, we will tell you before it affects a renewal, and you can cancel instead.

Acceptable use

Do not use Jelly Task to send spam, to harass anyone, to build or distribute malware, to break into systems you do not own, to generate content that sexualises minors, or to do anything illegal where you or your users are.

Do not attempt to reach another customer's data, probe the isolation between projects, or work around the approval requirements on high-risk actions. We will suspend an account for this without notice.

Your content stays yours

You own what you put into Jelly Task and what your workers produce for you. We take only the licence we need to run the service, storing your content, showing it back to you, and sending the relevant parts to an AI provider so a task can be done.

We do not train models on your content, and we do not use it to improve the service for anyone else.

Availability

We work to keep the service up and your data intact, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Jelly Task is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and does not let us exclude.

Third-party services can change or remove their APIs at any time. When that breaks an integration we will fix or retire it, but we do not control their decisions.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, lost data, lost opportunity, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like, and export everything first. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why unless doing so would make things worse.

Questions about any of this go to support@jellytask.app.

Plain English on purpose. If something here is unclear, that is a problem with the page and we would like to know.
